why a destination workshop?
The real question is, why a destination wedding vendor? For people that have done research about this line of work, know that it is not always a glamorous life. It is long flights, airport food, missing your family, and much more. But the reward is ten fold. There is nothing like traveling somewhere being inspired by the beauty of a new place all while bringing to life the vision of your couple.
This workshop is focused on curating a recognizable brand, finding your individual artistic vision, and creating with the goal to attract destination clients. This workshop is a hands on experience where Kenzie and Rachael are an open book. Both are visual learners, and focus on not only telling but showing attendees how they work and how they book high end weddings all over the world.

The workshop will be held at a 17th century château just outside of Paris. With three beautifully designed shoots on site and others off-site, the attendees will be fully immersed in the beauty of France. Each shoot will have incredible attention to detail and be designed with a destination client in mind. All meals will be provided as well as accommodation in this beautiful French château for 4 days and 3 nights. In addition to the three-day workshop, there is an optional Paris shoot to start of your week at sunrise on Monday morning before check-in.
Our workshop is for both photographers and designers. We believe that such a large part of destination wedding success lies in vendor relationships and collaborative design. Photographers will have the chance to capture the designs created and executed by Rachael and the planner/ floral attendees. They will receive hands on instruction from Kenzie and Rachael, giving them the perspective from both photographer and designer. Likewise, Rachael’s attendees will design and execute beautiful editorial looks and have their work captured by Kenzie and her attendees. We will learn and create together. We will experience and execute exactly what it means to take on a high-end event in a foreign country.
Registration will be open to 12 attendees. Six photographers, and six planners, designers, or florists. To secure your seat, there is a $1200 deposit and the remainder of the payment will be broken up into two due four months and two months out. We are happy to offer payment plans. The workshop includes accommodations, 3 days of learning, and all meals. Each attendee is responsible for their travel.
